South Devon’s biggest new music festival! Newton Abbot is set to be the rocking venue for another great concert, when Will Young headlines South Devon Festival at Newton Abbot racecourse on Saturday 24th July 2010.
Joining Will are Adrian Edmondson and his band, The Bad Shepherds, The Wurzels, Joey the Lips, The Demon Barber Road Show, The Diamond Geezers and Soul Funktion. Kicking off at 11.00 am on the 24th July, the festival will also feature a food village with local food and drink and a chill out zone offering alternative therapies such as reflexology and Indian Head Massage.
The festival will also have a beer tent, face painting, den and mask making and other activities to keep the young and young at heart amused.
Tickets for the general public will cost £40 for everyone aged 12+, £20 for children aged 5-12 years and under 5’s free, as long as an adult accompanies them.
The festival will also be supporting British troops who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Through the non-profit organisation Tickets For Troops, which offers tickets to big events to soldiers, sailors and airmen both currently serving or medically discharged since 2001
