Dartmouth River Cruises

Cruise in style on the beautiful River Dart and feel the breeze in your hair and the sun on your face.

Offering a choice of river tours including their award-winning Round Robin and paddle steamer, a Dartmouth River Cruise is guaranteed to be a top day out.

The paddle steamer is the last remaining coal-fired paddle steamer in operation in the UK today making it a must on your visit if you’re looking to do something unique.

Built in 1924 at Philip & Son of Dartmouth and operating between Totnes and Dartmouth until 1965 (her engines are even older, dating back to 1904, eight years before the sinking of the Titanic) this impressive ship was the life blood of the river Dart in her heyday, carrying almost 500 passengers.
