Big-Hearted Beverley Holidays - Team Reveal 2017 Charity Total
The big-hearted team here at Beverley Holidays have once again proved their charity champion credentials by raising a grand total of £7,713.97 for charity in 2017 through a series of fun fund-raising initiatives.
Receptionists, entertainers and other members of our holiday park’s award-winning team have achieved the charity windfall through a series of wacky money-raising initiatives throughout 2017.
First up was a brain-teasing challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support in February which saw quiz goers flock from far and wide to test their knowledge in the world’s largest simultaneous ‘Mammoth Quiz’.
In June, here at Beverley Holidays set tails wagging with its ‘Bring Your Dog To Work Day’ which saw its charitable team joined in the workplace by their canine companions to support two top animal welfare charities.
This year also saw our holiday parks’ very own director Katy Lamsin limber up for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon, raising £4,184 for Cancer Research UK in the gruelling long-distance run.
Not content with this marathon effort, we have also lent support to Brixham’s Mike Gibbons by acting as his official accommodation provider as he trains for the 2018 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.
But the icing on our park’s charitable cake was its Big Beverley Cake-off in September which raised both smiles and stacks of cash for charity as part of its annual Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
From all of us here at Beverley Holidays, a huge thank you to everyone who has dug deep in their pockets to help us raise £7,713.97 for our chosen charities in 2017 – this brilliant charity total wouldn’t have been possible without your kind generosity.
