Cracking Easter Activities On The English Riviera

Calendar iconPosted 29th Mar 2023

If you’re looking for cracking activities to keep your little bunnies busy this April, the English Riviera has a whole host of Easter events to enjoy. Best of all, a stay at family run Beverley Holidays puts you at the heart of all the chocolate-filled action with brilliant attractions and beaches right on our doorstep, plus plenty of egg-citing happenings right here on our parks.

Occombe Easter Trail – Do Goats Lay Eggs – 1-23 April

If you fancy some farmyard action where you can get close to some cute creatures and ride a tractor or two too, Occombe Farm is a great one to add to your Easter itinerary. As well as boasting a brand-new Straw Bale Maze, animal barn, sand pit and indoor multi-sensory play area, chocolate lovers are in for a treat thanks to its giant Easter Egg trail. Grab your basket and keep an eye out for the brightly-coloured eggs dotted around the farm, plus clues that will help you answer Occombe’s baffling big question – do goats lay eggs?

Kents Caverns’ Easter Egglow – 1-16 April

Put your Easter egg hunting skills to the ultimate test by seeing if you can find the Spring-time treats in the one of Britain’s best showcaves, Kents Cavern. Lucky for you, a little egg-lumination should help, plus lots more treasures to unearth (aside from those of the Easter variety) as a tour guide takes you along a labyrinth of caverns complete with 400-million-year-old rocks. Discover what Ice Age animals once roamed the caves, and the Stone Age people that made it their home.

Oldway Gardens Easter Trail – 3-17 April

Make the most of the milder Springtime temperatures by enjoying a breath of fresh air at Oldway Mansion’s blooming gardens. The former private estate of the Singer Family, famed for their sewing machines, you can explore 17 acres of glorious gardens which are blossoming into life come April. Plus, pick up a trail sheet from the tea hut for a mere £1 and help Mother Hen find her eggs.

Cockington Court’s Easter Alien Egg Trail – 1-14 April

If your legs aren’t too tired from taking all those trails, make sure you save yourself for one final trip to Cockington Country Park. Tucked in amongst 450 acres of glorious grounds and complete with chocolate box thatched cottages and pretty ornamental lakes, there’s nothing quaint about the Easter eggs dotted around the grounds which are hatching some out-of-this-world alien creations. Not only will the little ones love exploring Cockington, but adults will love its picture-postcard surroundings too.

Easter Fun At Beverley Holidays – 31 March-16 April

If you’re hopping on down to Beverley Holidays this Easter, you better have your bunny ears at the ready as we have plenty of Easter-themed activities right here on our holiday parks. Kids can have a blast with daytime activities like bunny biscuit decorating and egg hunts galore, plus Easter pottery painting and plenty more arts and crafts sessions with a Spring-time theme.
