A member of Beverley Holidays maintenance team Andy went all out with his Christmas lights to raise money for Rowcroft Hospice.

Andy and his family, who live in Torquay, are becoming well known for their spectacular Christmas light display.

Every year Andy spends up to 3 weeks in November decking his house and neighbour’s gardens, then invites the local community to watch the exciting lights switch on.

On Sunday 30 November the family had crowds of people waiting excitedly for the switch on. Neighbours also got involved by dressing up as festive characters.

At 6pm, Andy dressed in his finest Father Christmas costume and greeted the audience, thanking everyone for their support and flicked the switch.

The house was instantly lit up with bright and luminous colours, huge inflatable snowmen and chasing lights accompanied by a selection of popular festive tunes.

The display was finished off with lots of chocolate lollies and delicious Victoria sponge cake for all.
