Beverley Blogger Competition Winner!Published on 19th Dec, 2014 by Beverley Holidays
Earlier this year we launched a competition offering one star writer the chance to win a holiday in our Platinum Hot Tub Lodge as well as becoming an official Life At Beverley Holidays blogger during their stay.
To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize, we asked you to tell us about your favourite day out in and around the English Riviera in your best blogging style.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered – we can finally reveal that the person who has been crowned Beverley Holiday‘s star writer is…..(drumroll please)…….Claire Sen!
Check out Claire’s winning entry which we loved reading here at Beverley Holidays HQ:
“Picture blue skies, palm trees and boats bobbing on the harbour.. Exploring the English Riviera was the most magical experience I’ve ever had and I was so glad we visited here as a family.
We booked a caravan holiday with Beverley Holidays in Paignton. It was fantastic, especially if you have children. We could have easily stayed another week! The location was also idyllic, with the Riviera on our doorstep.
Our favourite day out was when we visited Paignton Zoo. My daughter loved the tortoises (as did my husband!) and my son loved the snakes (which were luckily behind glass). I was stunned by the gorillas. I just couldn’t stop looking at them in a mixture of awe and terror!
The beautiful Duchess the elephant, was so gentle looking, we all loved her. We finished off the trip with a train ride and my daughter was thrilled. After our fantastic day out, we wanted one more trip to the beach before our holiday ended.
On the way, I got a phone call from my Dad. He asked where we were. I thought it was odd as he knew we were away. Upon reaching Goodrington Sands, I saw a very familiar figure waiting for me!
My Dad had driven to the beach after seeing our photos. He had gifts for the children and he treated us to a gorgeous meal on the seafront, before we headed home. I couldn’t believe it! So here’s our family photo of us all together.”
