Second generation owner Alan Jeavons from Beverley Holidays was tasked with the challenge of telling 4.2 million listeners why the English Riviera in sunny South Devon is the best place to holiday in Britain.
Alan flew the flag for Torbay by answering a series of quick-fire questions from Radio 2hosts Alan and Mel covering everything from the tastiest local cuisine to the English Riviera's top local attractions.
During the broadcast, it was also revealed that star host Alan Carr has himself enjoyed happy times at Beverley Holidays having stayed at the family run park in a holiday caravan in the 1980s.
