Beverley’s Top English Riviera AttractionsPublished on 18th Aug, 2017 by Beverley Holidays
The Summer School Holidays are in full swing at our family of holiday parks in Devon and if you’re looking for somewhere that will keep the whole family entertained then look no further than the sunny English Riviera!
Did you know that the English Riviera has more tourist attractions than any other seaside resort in the UK? With so many to choose from, we thought we’d ask a few of our Beverley Team Members which is their favourite for a day out with the family.
Caroline from our Marketing Team loves to spend time at Cockington Court, walking the beautiful woodlands and gardens and playing fetch with her black labrador Shelby. Just a mile away from Torquay seafront, its' historic manor house is also the home to craft studios, art galleries and tea rooms.
Paignton Zoo Environmental Park
Housekeeping Team Members Hayley and James’s favourite attraction is a popular haunt among many visitors to Torbay… Paignton Zoo Environmental Park! As one of Britain’s top zoos, Paignton Zoo is home to some of the planet's rarest and most amazing animals including giraffes, lions, tigers, rhinos and gorillas, and it's animal residents have been made famous by CBBC series 'The Zoo'.
Geoplay Park Paignton
Nikki our Reservations Manager’s top attration is the Geoplay Park on Paignton Seafront where she loves watching her daughter having a ball on the brilliant play equipment. There’s lots for little ones and big kids alike to enjoy from sand and water play areas, a huge climbing net and zip wire.
Stephen from our Entertainment Team finds Kents Cavern a fascinating attraction that is a must-see for anyone visiting South Devon. As one of Europe’s top prehistoric caves, visitors can embark on a tour through its dark caverns which takes you on an incredible jourey back to the Stone Age.
Bex from our Oasis Lesiure Team highly recommends Living Coasts in Torquay as a top English Riviera attraction. The coastal zoo and aqualium is home to penguins, seals and otters, as well as a great selection of other marine life and a lovely cafe with stunning sea views to match.
Reception Manager Debbie loves nothing more than dipping her toes into Splashdown Waterpark at Goodrington Sands. She likes it because she can let her children loose on all the fun flume rides and water slides while she enjoys the spectacular views of South Devon.
