It’s that time again when we round up the month's top events and attractions in South Devon, and with February Half Term just around the corner there’s a whole host of things going on for the whole family to enjoy.
1. February Half Term Fun At Beverley Holidays – 16 & 17 February
Hot foot it to Beverley Holidays this February Half Term as we open our doors to guests and locals alike for two top tribute acts.
Book a stay at Beverley and you can enjoy the entertainment for free to alterntatively tickets are on sale now for the show-stopping performances which include a Little Mix tribute show with girl band ‘Salute’ on 16 February as well as the UK’s top Justin Bieber tribute act on 17 February.
Doors are open for both tribute acts at 7.30pm and will be followed by a disco, plus plenty of delicious food and drink on tap.
2. Valentines Trail, Cockington – 11-19 February
Love is in the air at Cockington Court! Complete the trail of love hearts around the beautiful Cockington Court, win a treat and enjoy a stroll around the country park and craft centre. Its £1 for a trail sheet and free for under 2s. Fun for all the family.
3. Cold Blooded Creatures, Paignton Zoo & Beside the Seaside, Living Coasts – 11-19 February
Join Paignton Zoo and Living Coast for two great February half term activities.
Visit Paignton Zoo to celebrate the launch of Cold Blooded Creatures 2017 and discover more about frogs, tortoises, crocodiles and more. There will be special talks trails and watch our for Cuba the Croc mascot.
Or why not head down to Living Coasts for a host of seaside activities including a shipwreck trail, puppet show, crafts and much more.
4. Occombe’s Natural Treasure Hunt & Meet the Occombe Farm Animals – 13- 17 February
Join Occombe Farms Natural Treasure Hunt between 13-17 from 10am-3pm where you must solve puzzles and clues to find all the natural treasures around the farm.
Plus, say hello to the farms animals including their goats, pigs, alpacas and more when you’re invited to meet the Occombe Farm animals between 14-16 from 10am-11am. For more information visit the Occombe Farm website.
5. Macmillan Mammoth Quiz – 24 February
Beverley Holidays invites you to take part in the world’s largest simultaneous quiz when we play host to our first ever Mammoth Quiz in aid of Macmillan.
Now in its ninth year, the Macmillan Mammoth Quiz holds the Guinness World Record for being the world’s largest simultaneous quiz and 2017 is set to be even bigger and better.
Help raise funds for people affected by cancer and join the family run park in our Starlight Cabaret Bar from 7pm on Friday 24 February for the nationwide brain-teasing quiz.
