Beverley Holidays’ brand new mascot Sandy The Starfish joined a host of other characters in a Mascot Dash at Sandy Park in Exeter this month to promote the Rugby World Cup 2015.

This year sees the South Devon rugby stadium join a handful of other venues across the UK to host the glorious games when the Rugby World Cup 2015 kicks off in September.

To promote the sporting spectacle, Sandy Park invited mascots from a number of leading South West holiday parks and attractions to take part in a half-time Mascot Dash.

Taking place during a match between Exeter Chiefs and London Welsh, Beverley Holiday’s mascot Sandy The Starfish took the spotlight along with a host of other characters.

Joining Sandy at the stadium was Kent’s Caverns’ Cavog The Caveman and Jenny The Helicopter from Devon Air Ambulance, plus Powderham Castle’s Arum The Dragon.

Back at Beverley Holidays, preparations for the sporting spectacle are well underway at our family run holiday park in Paignton, situated just a short drive from Sandy Park in Exeter.

Offering a wealth of luxury lodges, holiday caravans, touring and camping pitches, Beverley Holidays is the perfect place to pitch up if you have tickets for the Sandy Park play offs.
