Its that time a month again when we showcase our top 5 things to do in South Devon, and the bay has some great attractions for the month of May!
With half term just around the corner theres a whole host of things going on to make it a special one.
Let’s kick off our top 5 list with an exciting event happening here on our park…
1. Toddler Mascot Break
We have a week filled with toddler-tastic activities planned for your little ones to jump into! Ranging from arts and crafts, sensory play to having fun at the zoo, eating breakfast and enjoying picnic time with Beverley Bear herself! It also so happens to be Beverley’s Bear Birthday so make sure you’re there to celebrate her special day.
2. The Devon County Show – Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 May
Every year the Devon County Show put on a big day out for all our guests to South Devon. There is so much to see and do from meeting furry animals, having a taste of the finest local produce, entertainment including monster trucks, music, historic steam engines and having a ride on Lennie the land train! We also will be cheering on our Beverley mascot as they run in the Torbay Attraction Race on the Saturday.
3. Big Night Out With Shane Richie Jr – Saturday 27 May
We are so excited to be welcome Shane Richie Jr to the Starlight stage this May half term. The eldest son of household names Coleen Nolan and Shane Richie will be wowing the crowds with his sensational vocals. Famous for his natural charisma and astounding stage presence, Shane has won critical acclaim in his role as Roddy O’Neill in the UK National theatre tour of ‘Boogie Nights’.
4. English Riviera Wheel
At a huge height of nearly 60 metres, the English Riviera Wheel will provide you with breathtaking 360 degree views across the whole of the bay. During the ride there is commentary on the Bay’s history, events and attractions you can enjoy in the bay.
5. Brixfest Brixham – Saturday 27 – Wednesday 31 May
Come and join in with the Brixfest Brixham celebrations this half term. There will be a grand firework display on Sunday, a dragonboat challenge on Monday and a children’s day with 1960s festivities thrown into the mix on the Tuesday.
