We'll Meet Again Charity Weekend Preview
This coming Spring, the family run holiday park will see tents replaced by military tanks when it transforms into a scene plucked straight from the post-Second World War era.
The three-day ‘We’ll Meet Again’ Charity Weekend will celebrate the fab 40s and 50s with classic cars, trade stalls, period costume hire, authentic 1940s make overs and much more.
Saturday will even offer event-goers the chance to witness a real 1940’s themed wedding, before toasting the happy couple in a vintage tea room or taking a ride on the visiting fair.
Promising a fun day out for the whole family, the Charity Weekend will also offer free tours to Brixham Battery to learn about Torbay’s wartime heritage, plus children’s play areas.
The wartime antics will continue well into the night, with Devon’s very own force’s sweetheart Sandy Sparkle set to grace Beverley’s Starlight Cabaret stage on Saturday.
The line-up also includes AJs Caravan Swing Band and The Lindy Hoppers, who’s music is inspired by the swing era, followed by an unforgettable fireworks display.
On Sunday night the fantastic 59 Ford will be wowing the crowds with the finest rock ‘n’ roll hits, followed by DJ entertainment well into the early hours.
Beverley Holidays’ Facilities Manager, Gary Furneaux, said: “We are thrilled to be hosting the ‘We’ll Meet Again’ Charity Weekend – a fantastic event for the whole family that also offers the chance to combine a stay at our award-winning holiday park.”
