About the Role

As a Commis Chef, you’ll play a leading role in the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes for our guests. You’ll ensure food is cooked to an excellent standard while maintaining food safety and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• To prepare food to the highest standard for our guests
• Maintain excellent food quality and consistency, following company service style and food delivery procedures.
• To adhere to all food and hygiene safety requirements at all times.
• Ensure food storage, preparation, and service meet temperature guidelines.
• Ensure all checklists and food safety records are completed correctly and accurately.
• Assist in keeping the Kitchen and all food handling areas clean as per the food safety handbook.

Education, Training, and Experience

• Previous experience in a chef or kitchen role preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and stock handling procedures.
• Minimum level 2 food hygiene.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week (includes evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays)

• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
