About the Food & Beverage Supervisor Role
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team to deliver exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. You will ensure smooth operations, high standards, and a welcoming atmosphere in our food and drink outlets.
Job Type: Seasonal (fixed term)
Hours of Work: Various (includes evenings, weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the F&B team to provide outstanding customer service.
- Oversee bar and table service, ensuring swift and efficient service that surpasses customer expectations.
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly environment at all times for all guests.
- Train and develop the team to meet high service standards.
- Upsell food and beverage options to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and food hygiene regulations.
- Minimise waste and monitor stock control.
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Follow company cash handling and key security procedures.
- Keep bars, restaurants, and facilities clean and well-maintained.
- Act as an ambassador for Beverley Holidays, promoting our facilities and services.
- To ensure that all checklists are completed and signed off correctly as instructed
- To adhere to all company policies including our Health and Safety procedures, COSHH procedure, and all other procedures in the Company Handbook
- Any other duties as required by your team leader and management team to ensure the smooth running of the department and company
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role within a food and beverage setting.
- Strong and proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
