Leisure Supervisor

About The Role:

Fancy being in the business of making happy holiday memories that last a lifetime? We’re seeking a friendly and dynamic Leisure Supervisor to join our award-winning Beverley Holidays team on a permanent basis, to include evenings and weekends. Supporting the Leisure Manager and your team, you will ensure the highest standards of service and standards are met, along with health and safety excellence.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Development and growth of the Leisure department is key, always putting customer safety and customer service first.

We are looking for a positive, passionate and driven individual who is customer focused and able to lead a team.  Duties include but are not limited to:

An overview of the key responsibilities are detailed below:

• Amazing Customer Service to our guests
• Assisting the Leisure Manager and team in creating excellence
• Supporting your team with training and coaching to help them realise their goals
• To be commercially savvy with an understanding of budget management
• To be part of the development team of the Leisure department
• To have a key focus on ensuring Health and Safety provision are in place and are up to date.
• Arranging and delivering gym inductions to customers.
• Making sure that all team members follow company policy regarding NOP/EAP.
• Assist in pool plant operations and chemical handling.
• Delegating work to the leisure team.
• To carry out regular NPLQ training.
• To be able to give first aid in practice when required.
• To work within the company health and safety policy at all times.
• Act as an ambassador for the company and promote the company at all times.
• To adhere to all company policies/procedures at all times. Further details of these can be found inside our company handbook.
• Any other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the department and company.

 Education, Training and Experience

• NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) is required
• Gym instructor level 2 qualification is desirable
• Plant Room certificate is desirable
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Appropriate training necessary to equip you with the knowledge and skills to perform your role will be provided.  Additionally, you are required to satisfactorily complete NPLQ training every month. This training will be arranged and funded by the Company. If you are unable to attend the scheduled training, you must make arrangements to attend an alternative date for the training.

Hours of work

• Hours to suit the business needs. Working hours will include evenings and weekends/school holidays and bank holidays.
