POSITION: Marketing Apprentice
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 18 Months Fixed Term
REPORTING TO: Head of Marketing/Content Marketer

Job Purpose

You’ll support the marketing team in promoting Beverley Holidays as a leading holiday destination by creating engaging content and delivering it across a variety of platforms. This is a hands-on role where you’ll develop your skills in content creation, digital marketing, and brand management, helping us connect with our audience and enhance our customer journey.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing

• Research industry trends, monitor competitors, and analyse data to spot opportunities.
• Update our websites using a WordPress CMS, ensuring accuracy and SEO best practices.
• Create engaging social media posts and assist with video/image content to boost interaction.

Content Creation & Branding

• Design promotional materials using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Manage printed marketing projects, including sourcing quotes and working with suppliers.
• Collaborate with other departments to align campaigns with business goals.

Customer Engagement

• Respond to comments and messages on social media to build relationships with our audience.
• Support customer research initiatives like surveys to gain insights for future campaigns.

Marketing Operations

• Help organise and execute campaigns for special events and seasonal promotions.
• Work with external partners like web developers and influencers to develop exciting content.
• Keep marketing materials organised and accessible for the team.

Essential Skills

• Strong communication skills with a knack for creating engaging content.
• Creativity and a flair for generating fresh ideas for social media and campaigns.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

• Basic knowledge of CMS platforms, social media tools, and graphic design software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and work management tools like Monday

• An understanding of SEO basics and email marketing.

What You’ll Need

• GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English.
• An excellent command of written and spoken English.
• An interest in the domestic tourism industry

Hours of Work

• 37.5 hours per week (9am -5pm Monday to Friday)
• 28 days holiday per year
