1. Stand Up Paddle – SUPER Festival English Riviera Championships – 5-7 September

Top Things To Do In Devon This September. SUP World Cup.

Torbay will host the SUP championships as part of a 4 year plan to bring international level competition to this spectacular South Devon Resort.  The crystal waters and stunning scenery of this world renowned GeoPark was once home to Agatha Christies and the inspiration for Indiana Jones.  Today it is one of the UK’s premier coastal resorts with palms trees and warm waters which helped give Torbay the name of English Riviera. 

This two day event will include a festival of stand up paddle board races, activities, demonstrations and presentations.  Focusing on bringing the joy of SUP to families through to elite athletes, the Torbay SUP Championships will take SUP in the UK to a whole new level of ‘blue space’ activity.

2. Agatha Christie Festival – 13-21 September

Every September, Devon becomes a crime scene worth investigation, as we celebrate the birthday of the English Riviera’s most famous literary daughter and Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie.
