A caravan holiday is all about relaxing, exploring, and making special memories. Whether you’re planning a short break or a longer stay, packing the right essentials can make your trip even more enjoyable.

At Beverley Holidays, we make sure your accommodation is set up for a comfortable and stress-free stay, with beds made up on arrival*, fresh towels*, and Welcome Packs* with tea, coffee, and washing-up essentials. You can also hire extra towels, cots, and highchairs if needed.

In this guide, we’ll cover what to pack for your caravan holiday, what’s already provided, and finally how to book your stay.

What to Pack on a Caravan Holiday

1. Travel & Booking Essentials

Before you start packing, make sure you have:
✔️ Your booking confirmation (printed or saved on your phone)
✔️ Directions and Check-In information
✔️ Downloaded our App and pre-booked your activities

If you’re bringing your dog, don’t forget their lead, bed, food, and toys so they feel right at home. Our dog-friendly caravans offer a fantastic base for exploring the nearby beaches and coastal walks, plus come with dog bowl and blanket included.

2. Clothing for Every Adventure

Whether you’re heading to the beach, exploring coastal paths, or relaxing on your caravan’s private hot tub, packing the right clothes will keep you comfortable.

✔️ Everyday comfortable outfits for exploring
✔️ Swimwear for the pool, hot tub, or beach days
✔️ Flip-flops or sandals for the pool and showers
✔️ Sunhat, sunglasses, and sun cream for sunny days
✔️ Trainers or walking shoes for exploring the stunning Devon coast

With South Devon’s beautiful beaches nearby, you definitely need to bring beach towels.

Don’t forget, if you’re staying in one of our lodges, a hairdryer is provided, so that’s one less thing to pack! To see exactly what’s included in your accommodation, check our comparison chart on the pre-arrival page.

3. Toiletries & Personal Items

We provide towels and bedding*, so no need to bring those! However, you’ll want to pack your own:
✔️ Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel
✔️ Toothbrush and toothpaste
✔️ Razor, deodorant, and other toiletries
✔️ Any medication or first aid essentials

It’s always handy to have a small first aid kit with plasters, antiseptic wipes, and pain relief, especially if you have little ones.
