What is a Medicash Health Cash Plan?

Using the Medicash App is the easiest way to make a claim for healthcare bills. Simply download it from the App Store or Google Play, enter a few details and you’re all set to make the most of your health plan. You can submit your claims directly through the app in just a few minutes!

How do I make a claim?

Using the Medicash App is the easiest way to make a claim for healthcare bills, however, if you don’t have a smartphone, you can still submit your claims online. You’ll just need to have copies of your receipts saved to your computer or laptop before you start.
If you are not able to claim via our app or online you can choose to download a claim form and send this in by post.

Tax

The services provided by this Medicash policy are treated as a Benefit in Kind, and as such, attract a level of taxation which is based upon your personal tax status. As an example, the cost to a basic rate tax-payer is approximately £1.20 per month. At the end of the tax year, HMRC shall assess each individuals income, and adjust your tax code for the following year to accommodate the benefit provided.

When will my policy become live?

 Eligible new starter’s details are added on the 1^st of the month, regardless of your start date.  You will receive an email to your personal email address with your policy number and details shortly after this.

Can I opt out of having a Medicash Health Cash Plan?
