In between Paignton and Brixham, is the blue flag awarded Broadsands Beach. It is perfect for families wanting time away from the amusement arcades. The gently sloping shoreline is perfect for little ones to splash around in. Plus at low tide you can enjoy spotting sea creature in rock pools which are exposed. If you want to spend the day here you can hire one of the colourful beach huts to use as your base.
There’s also a large area of parkland behind the beach which is perfect for a kick around. The car park leads straight on to the long level promenade.
Dogs are not allowed during the summer season. There is a dog (on leads) exercise area on the green behind the beach.
