Cockington Country Park
Walk the beautiful gardens, lakes and woodlands and relax in the quaint tea rooms.
Just a mile from Torquay seafront. Cockington is a picturesque open parkland tucked in rural countryside and sustainable woodland – explored through a network of path and bridleways making it perfect for walkers and cyclists.
As well as the world-famous chocolate box village of thatched cottages, you’ll also discover cream tea shops, a stunning pub, three ornamental lakes, the historic Game Keeper’s Lodge, and a quaint church.
Start your visit at the Visitor Centre in the village, which offers information about the park, latest events, its history, wildlife and the work of the Trust, as well as a selection of gifts and sundries.
From April till October, there are food and craft markets on the last Sunday of every month.
