Torre Abbey Sands is a favourite spot for younger people staying in the area who also take the opportunity to use the grassy expanse of nearby Torre Abbey Meadows.
Be sure to check out the tide times before you visit as there is precious little sandy areas left at high tide. Because of this Torre Abbey Sands usually stays slightly wet.
There are toilets close by, including disabled toilet facilities. The area around the sands is enhanced with some a selection of restaurants and cafes. There are also tennis courts, mini golf, pitch and putt, lawn bowls plus the abbey gardens. All surrounded by many mature palm trees. Enjoy the the great views all the way across Torbay as far as Brixham.
