It’s valentine’s day once again this week and as well as the English Riviera being home to a host of great attractions, it also boasts some of the most amazing coastal views.

That’s why this year we thought we’d ask some of our Beverley team where their most loved view points are in Devon…

Dan’s Choice – Dartmoor

Recently named 57th in ITV’s ‘Top 100 Favourite Walks’, Dan’s choice for his most loved view is Dartmoor National Park in the heart of Devon. Dartmoor is an ancient landscape of stunning views, granite tors, deep woodland, fast flowing rivers and wide-open spaces.

Debbie’s Choice – Babbacombe Downs

No visit to South Devon would be complete without a walk along Babbacombe Downs where on a clear day you can see right across Lyme Bay to Portland Bill Lighthouse in Dorset. Debbie loves nothing better than sitting to enjoy the local fish and chips here.

Helen’s Choice – Thatcher Rock, Torquay

A lesser known spot and a secret gem of the English Riviera is a little park area where you will find the most beautiful view of Thatcher Rock in Torquay. Its just a short distance from the town center of Torquay yet provides unexpected peace and tranquility. Helen loves to relax here on a sunny day.

Rock Walk in Torquay is a favourite spot of Barrie’s and provides amazing night time views of Torbay. Take a walk up the illuminated staircase to the various viewing areas where on a clear evening you can see the flashing lighthouse at Berry Head in Brixham – another great view point of the English Riviera.
