The Beverley Holidays Team were put through their baking paces in a charity cake-off which raised £395 for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the charity’s annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Our Devon holiday park’s Receptionists, entertainers and other members of the park’s charitable team swapped their uniforms for aprons as they battled it out in the kitchen for the coveted title of Beverley’s Star Baker.

The scrumptious spread of home-made cakes were quickly devoured by hungry Coffee Morning attendees who dug deep in their pockets to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Marketing Director of Beverley Holidays, Claire Jeavons said: “We are thrilled to have raised £395 for Macmillan Cancer Support and would like to say a huge thank you to all those who joined us for another successful coffee morning and donated to this very worthy cause.

“And there’s an equally big well done to the Beverley Holidays Team on their brilliant cake-off entries. Thankfully there wasn’t a soggy bottom in sight and the cakes proved a real hit with our judges and event goers alike.”
