Introducing the Beverley Dog Calendar
A Tail-Wagging Season: Doggy Events at Beverley Holidays This Year
If your perfect holiday includes sandy paws, wagging tails, and unforgettable moments with your four-legged best friend, then this year at Beverley Holidays is shaping up to be something truly special. Known for its warm hospitality and stunning South Devon coastal setting, Beverley Holidays has always welcomed dogs—but in 2026, we’re going one step further with a full Dog calendar of Events.
From playful competitions to relaxed social meet-ups, these events are designed to celebrate dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether you’re staying in a holiday home, touring pitch, or dog-friendly caravan, there’s something here for every pup and their human.
A Year Packed with Doggy Fun

The dog calendar kicks off in spring and runs right through to Halloween, ensuring there’s always something to look forward to during your stay.
📸 April 26th – Doggy Photo Shoot (12pm–1pm)
The season begins with a chance for your dog to become a star. Held at the Holiday Home Sales Office, this fun and relaxed photo shoot invites guests to bring their dogs along to pose—especially with the much-loved Doggy Deckchair. It’s a light hearted way to capture memories and let your pup shine in front of the camera.
🏆 May 9th – Krufts Competition (10am–11am)
Inspired by the famous Crufts, this “Krufts” competition takes place in Pawadise Park on Beverley Bay and is open to all dogs. Expect wagging tails, proud owners, and plenty of laughs as dogs compete for prizes. Categories are designed to be inclusive and fun rather than serious—so every dog has a chance to win something.
🐾 June 7th – Doggy Meet Up (12pm–1pm)
Sometimes, it’s the simple things that matter most. This relaxed meet-up in Pawadise Park gives dogs and owners the chance to socialise, make new friends, and enjoy the fresh coastal air. It’s perfect for dogs who love to mingle and for owners who enjoy connecting with fellow dog lovers.
📸 July 30th – Doggy Photo Shoot (12pm–1pm)
Missed the first one? Don’t worry—there’s another opportunity to capture your pup’s personality in this second photo shoot session at the Holiday Home Sales Office. The Doggy Deckchair makes a return, ready for more adorable poses.
🥂 August 26th – Pawsecco & Nibbles (12pm–1pm)
Celebrating International Dog Day in style, this event is a real treat—literally. Guests can collect special doggy drinks such as Pawsecco and other tasty treats from Sir Woofchesters. It’s a fun and slightly indulgent way to spoil your pup and mark the occasion together.
🏊 September – End of Season Dog Swim
One of the most unique events of the year, this takes place on the final day before the Beverley Park Lagoon outdoor pool closes for the season. Instead of closing quietly, the pool is opened up for dogs to enjoy a supervised swim. With lifeguards present and photography capturing the action, it’s a joyful, splash-filled finale to the summer season.
🎃 October 31st – Dog Halloween Fancy Dress (11am–12pm)
The year wraps up with a spooky twist. Dogs are invited to dress up in their best Halloween costumes for a fun competition at the Holiday Home Sales Office. With prizes, judges, and plenty of photo opportunities, it’s a brilliant way to end the season on a high (and slightly spooky) note.

Dog-friendly stays often include little extras that make a big difference—such as nearby dog walking routes, waste disposal points, and clear guidance on where dogs are welcome on-site. It’s all designed to make your holiday as smooth as possible.
Facilities Designed with Dogs in Mind
Beyond accommodation, Beverley Holidays offers a range of facilities that make it a standout destination for dog owners.
🌳 Pawadise Park
This dedicated dog exercise area is a highlight for many guests. Secure and spacious, Pawadise Park gives dogs the freedom to run, play, and socialise safely. It’s also the central hub for several of the Doggy Events throughout the year.

🚶 Scenic Walking Routes
Located near the South Devon coast, Beverley Holidays is perfectly positioned for scenic dog walks. From coastal paths with stunning sea views to nearby countryside trails, there’s no shortage of places to explore with your dog.
🐕 Dog-Friendly Atmosphere
Perhaps the biggest draw is the overall atmosphere. Staff are welcoming to dogs, and fellow guests often share the same love for their pets. It creates a relaxed, community feel where dogs are part of the holiday experience—not an afterthought.
Plan Your Visit
With events spread throughout the year, there’s no “wrong” time to visit—but planning your stay around one (or more) of these Events on the Dog Calendar can make your holiday even more special.
Whether your dog is a social butterfly, a camera-loving star, or just enjoys a good splash in the pool, Beverley Holidays has created a calendar that ensures every pup gets their moment.
