Back for another swashbuckling year, this annual gathering of the world’s most infamous pirates and lowly scallywags makes for an unforgettable day out for all the family. Be sure to go along wearing your best sea-faring fancy dress, and enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean-style ship re-enactments and brilliant local live music, all in the beautiful nearby fishing town of Brixham.
Both Beverley Holidays and Torbay will be bringing out the bunting and celebrating the extra May Bank Holiday in true regal style. Expect a busy weekend full of festivities and plenty of that great British spirit as we usher in a new era for the monarchy when King Charles III takes to the thrown. Join us for a right-royal knees-up at our holidays parks when we celebrate the Coronation with a big Beverley street party, or mark the occasion at one of the many events taking place across The Bay.
English Riviera Food & Music Festival
Just when you thought the English Riviera’s events calendar couldn’t get any better, this brand new four-day food and music extravaganza arrives in town. Brand new for 2023, the first-ever English Riviera Food & Music Festival is set to be a feast for the ears as much the stomach with event goers able to tuck into some of the region’s finest food served with some chart-topping music stars on the side including Fleur East, Scouting For Girls and Razorlight, to name a few.
English Riviera Airshow
The Torbay skies will once again play host to a spectacular airshow this Summer, with Beverley Holidays boasting a front-row seat thanks to our stunning sea view setting. Spread across two days, the English Riviera Airshow promises stunning aerodynamic displays from the RAF Red Arrows and Typhoon Display Team, to name just a couple.
Back in all its rainbow-coloured glory, Torbay Pride makes a welcome return in 2023. This fun and completely free event is set to take over the beautiful setting of Torre Abbey Meadows for a fabulous array of fundraising events for all the family. So why not grab a picnic blanket and bask in beautiful views of The Bay while celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQ communities?
This winter sees the English Riviera flick the switch once again on its biggest-ever illuminated event The Bay of Lights. Taking place across Torquay, Paignton and Brixham and perfectly timed for the run-up to Christmas, the popular 1.5 mile illuminated trail will return along Torquay seafront, running from Torre Abbey and its glorious seafront gardens to Torquay town centre, with some glittering surprises along the way.
