What’s on in the English Riviera in September…
Stand Up Paddle – SUPER Festival English Riviera Championships: 5-7 September
Torbay will host the SUP Championships as part of a four-year plan to bring world-class competition to this South Devon resort. Known as the English Riviera for its palm trees, warm waters and stunning scenery, this UNESCO GeoPark has inspired legends from Agatha Christie to Indiana Jones.
The two-day event will feature races, activities, demos and presentations, welcoming everyone from families to elite athletes, and taking UK stand up paddleboarding to a new level of ‘blue space’ adventure.
Agatha Christie Festival: 13-21 September
Every September, Devon becomes a crime scene worth investigation, as we celebrate the birthday of the English Riviera’s most famous literary daughter. Taking place across Torquay, the festival is packed with walks, talks, films, workshops and performances.
England’s Seafood Feast: 26 September-12 October
Don’t miss a mouth-watering two-week celebration of local seafood as England’s Seafood Feast returns to the English Riviera. An unforgettable experience for all foodies, enjoy a range of locally landed and caught fish and seafood at over 30 eateries across Brixham, Paignton and Torquay.
