1. Paignton Zoo

A great day out come rain or shine, Paignton Zoo is a must whatever time of year you visit. You can discover its endless animal inhabitants without ever getting wet thanks to its plentiful indoor areas including Savannah and tropical rainforest enclosures. 5. Torquay Museum

Get ready to explore a fascinating collection of artefacts at Torquay Museum. With lots to do for children and adults alike, discover Ancient Egypt, come face-to-face with the sabre-toothed tiger and find your way through Britain’s only Agatha Christie gallery, dedicated to the Torquay born Queen of Crime.
